Lineage Logistics in Tauranga, NZ, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a 16+ person team at the Sulphur Point facility. You will balance hands-on operational delivery with people leadership, drive performance, and maintain a resilient culture in a busy cold storage environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure safety, compliance, inventory accuracy, and customer service excellence while developing your team and building trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance and accountability at all levels
• Oversee the day-to-day performance of the operation, ensuring efficiency and reliability
• Provide strong, visible leadership that motivates, supports, and holds people accountable
• Have clear, constructive, and at times difficult conversations to address performance and behaviour
• Build and maintain trusted customer relationships
• Ensure inventory accuracy and operational integrity
• Manage site assets to ensure operational readiness
• Uphold company standards and regulatory requirements
