Job summary

Lineage, the world’s largest temperature-controlled industrial REIT and logistics solutions provider, is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Executive to strengthen customer relationships and drive sustainable growth across our NZ warehousing and logistics network.

Based in Auckland, Tauranga or Hawke's Bay, you will develop opportunities, partner with operations, and deliver tailored supply chain solutions that create long-term value for customers and Lineage.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, account management, sales or customer growth roles.
• Exposure to logistics, warehousing, supply chain, transport or 3PL environments.
• Customer-first approach and ability to develop long-term partnerships.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinking with data-driven commercial recommendations.
• Experience preparing proposals, pricing solutions and business cases.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of customers across New Zealand.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify, pursue and secure new warehousing and supply chain opportunities.
• Develop commercially competitive proposals, pricing models and solutions.
• Lead customer negotiations and support contract renewals and rate reviews.
• Collaborate with operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Maintain an active pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
• Provide strategic customer insights and market intelligence.
• Support initiatives focused on business growth and customer experience.
