Job summary

Linfox is seeking a Business Development Lead in New Zealand to drive growth through tenders, bids and RFP responses in warehousing and transport. You will work as 2IC to the National Business Development Manager, coordinating with Commercial and Operations teams to convert complex customer requirements into winning proposals.

You will own the bid process, bring structure to the pipeline, and support the National Manager on customers and opportunities, collaborating across functions to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in business development support, bid/tender management, or project management within a B2B environment.
• Logistics or supply chain exposure is a plus but not required.
• Strong written communication for RFP-quality responses.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and ability to shape proposals and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid submissions, from qualification to award.
• Develop compelling proposals and logistics solutions across transport and warehousing.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to shape pricing and opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver winning customer solutions.
• Manage pipeline governance, reporting and bid processes to drive growth.
• Build customer relationships through market analysis and site visits.
