Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking an Overnight Supervisor for Transitional Housing. The role focuses on keeping wahine and tamariki safe, supervising residents and the building, and responding to emergencies.

We offer four weeks of full training before night shifts, access to EAP, wellness benefits, and support for education. NZ residency or valid work visa is required, and a full, clean driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the tangata whaiora are safe and well, and adherence to their responsibilities while in our care
• Respond to events to ensure the safety of wahine and their tamariki
• Light cleaning, preparing rooms, and other cleaning duties as scheduled
• Being security-minded, aware of risks, risk management, and hazards
