Job summary

Pathways Health Ltd in Wellington is seeking casual Support Workers for Awake overnight shifts (11pm – 7:30am) across our mental health services. Earn up to NZD 32.30 per hour and join a supportive team in warm, homelike environments with access to facilities and meals.

This casual role supports leave coverage for permanent staff and offers exposure to a range of services. A current first aid certificate and NZCHW Level 4 (or studying towards) are preferred; knowledge of Te Tiriti Waitangi is

Qualifications

• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• NZCHW Level 4 or currently studying towards this qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti Waitangi principles.

Responsibilities

• Support people experiencing mental health challenges in a person-centred, recovery-focused way.
• Work across shifts and services in Wellington (Miramar/Brooklyn/Central Wellington, Tawa/Porirua/Titahi Bay, Kapiti).
• Provide a caring, detail-oriented approach and report to Team Coach.
