Job summary

Green by Nature seeks an enthusiastic Service Manager to lead nationwide service and maintenance operations from its Porana, Hillcrest depot in New Zealand. You will manage a team across multiple depots and ensure 3,000 assets are maintained safely, reliably and cost-effectively.

You will own service performance, people leadership and RM administration, driving improvements and ensuring alignment with fleet standards and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service or workshop function, ideally across multiple sites.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance/service-management systems.
• Safety-focused, accountable and reliable in delivering commitments.
• Organised and improvement-driven across a geographically dispersed network.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop capacity, workflow and housekeeping through the Workshop Foreman.
• Lead and coach the Service Administrator, Service Engineer, Workshop Foreman and Mechanics.
• Own execution of maintenance schedules within fleet standards set by National Fleet Manager.
• Oversee R&M contract administration from quotation to invoicing and completion.
• Approve R&M quotations within delegated limits and escalate exceptions as needed.
• Monitor workshop utilisation, technician productivity, and asset availability.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and company standards.
