RealNZ in Te Anau is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to lead the vehicle fleet and infrastructure management. You will troubleshoot operational challenges, coordinate maintenance and budgets, and partner with technicians, apprentices and contractors to keep assets safe and reliable.

The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic asset lifecycle planning, focusing on continuous improvement, cost control and future resilience across remote locations.

Formación

• 10+ years' experience in asset management in asset-intensive environments.
• Strong track record in maintenance planning at scale.
• Experience supporting or using an EAM system (Maximo, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, practical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Commitment to conservation and protecting natural environments.
• Inclusive workplace advocate.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee maintenance scheduling and budget for vehicle fleet and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with technicians, contractors and leaders to keep assets reliable.
• Lead asset lifecycle planning and improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and enhance safety.
• Monitor and report on performance against targets.
