Job summary

West Harbour Medical Centre in Auckland's West area is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist cum Health Care Assistant to join our clinic team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, manage appointments, and support doctors and nurses with patient care.

A warm, friendly telephone presence and patient-service focus are essential. We offer free training and opportunities to develop in the evergreen healthcare sector.

Qualifications

• Medical receptionist experience is required.
• Must be able to welcome patients warmly and professionally.
• Ability to book appointments and process payments.
• Handle calls, emails, and text messages effectively.
• Assist doctors and nurses with patient care as needed.

West Harbour Medical Centre is a well-established GP clinic in the heart of West Auckland. We are looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist cum Health Care Assistant to join our team. You are pivotal in the medical centre environment, as you are the first point of contact with patients and visitors. You will also co-ordinate the services and have a major role to play in prioritizing workflows and managing patient expectations. Therefore, you will provide frontline reception services, and assist doctors & nurses with patient care. Ideally, you will have a warm and welcoming personality; a pleasant telephone voice; patient-service focus.

You will have opportunities to develop yourself in the evergreen healthcare sector with free training provided. We are happy to consider the right candidates with limited experience who are willing to learn.

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST EXPERIENCE IS MUST
