Job summary

Apollo Foods in Nelson, New Zealand, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing Specialists and Head of Brands across all brands. This hands-on role covers digital support, trade marketing, events and activations, merchandise and internal communications.

You will thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment and gain exposure to every part of the marketing mix, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to bring campaigns to life.

Qualifications

  • Experience in FMCG preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta).
  • Experience with events and activations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Proactive with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the annual marketing strategy and campaigns, on budget and on time.
  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries across brand email accounts.
  • Support our Digital Marketing Specialist with website, e-commerce and social media content, including community management across our social channels.
  • Manage brand merchandise and assets, and coordinate PR, media and sponsorship enquiries.
  • Support trade marketing promotions and packaging processes.
  • Help plan, manage and execute brand events and activations.
  • Champion our brands and culture internally.

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing Specialists and Head of Brands in bringing our marketing plan to life across all Apollo Foods brands. This is a hands-on, varied role covering digital support, trade marketing, events and activations, merchandise, and internal communications - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and wants exposure to every part of the marketing mix.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting delivery of the annual marketing strategy and campaigns, on budget and on time
  • Managing and responding to customer enquiries across our brand email accounts
  • Supporting our Digital Marketing Specialist with website, e-commerce and social media content, including community management across our social channels
  • Managing brand merchandise and assets, and coordinating PR, media and sponsorship enquiries
  • Supporting trade marketing promotions and packaging processes
  • Helping plan, manage and execute brand events and activations
  • Championing our brands and culture internally
About you
  • Previous experience in FMCG preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta)
  • Experience with events and activations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, with excellent attention to detail - you spot opportunities and issues before they're pointed out to you
  • Great at building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing is preferred but not essential
