Job summary

SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Auckland is seeking a Guest Experience & Education Host to inspire visitors with engaging talks, lessons, tours, and interactive experiences. You’ll use storytelling and knowledge of marine life to spark curiosity and encourage action for oceans, while delivering warm, world-class service to diverse audiences.

You’ll continually develop your knowledge of animals, habitats, ecology, and conservation, and work across the attraction to maintain safety and high guest

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience engaging with diverse audiences including children.
• Interest in marine life and conservation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging talks, lessons, tours, and interactive experiences.
• Create welcoming experiences for families, schools, groups, and guests of all ages.
• Use storytelling and hands-on experiences to bring marine life and conservation to life.
• Develop knowledge of animals, habitats, ecology, and conservation initiatives.
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues where possible, escalate when required.
• Deliver scheduled programmes reliably and adapt to guest needs.
• Work across the attraction with high standards of guest safety and welfare.
• Act as a positive ambassador for SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s and inspire ocean protection.
