Job summary

ALH Auckland is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. This role offers hands-on experience, the chance to work alongside experienced tradespeople and the possibility to progress into an Engineering / Fitter Turner apprenticeship.

No previous engineering experience is required—the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are valued. The position is Monday to Friday, starts at 5:00 AM, paying $27–$28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced maintenance technicians and fitters
• Complete general engineering and maintenance tasks
• Assist with machinery maintenance and basic repairs

• Assist with machinery troubleshooting
• Complete general workshop duties
• Support the team with day-to-day maintenance requirements
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Learn new engineering and mechanical skills on the job

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join an Engineering and Maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, work alongside experienced tradespeople and potentially progress into an Engineering / Fitter Turner apprenticeship.

Position: Monday - Friday
Start Time: 5:00 AM
Pay: $27 - $28 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary with potential for ongoing work

Key Responsibilities
