Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities operates a Maintenance Operations Centre in Addington, Christchurch. The Operator role processes a high volume of maintenance requests, validating needs, prioritising work orders and coordinating with contractors and teams to ensure work is delivered efficiently and safely.

Based in Addington, Christchurch, with hours Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm, this fixed-term opportunity ends 30 June 2027.

Formación

• Relevant qualification in property, facilities, maintenance, or related field
• Experience managing building maintenance programmes, long-term plans and compliance
• Strong analytical skills to interpret information and make decisions
• Excellent communication and relationship management, including resolving issues
• Experience managing risk, health and safety and applying procedures
• Confident using online systems and digital applications in a fast-paced environment
• Initiative, sound judgement and ability to work under pressure in a team

Responsabilidades

• Process a high-volume stream of maintenance requests with accuracy
• Validate service requests, determine appropriate trades and priority
• Create accurate work orders and monitor progress to completion
• Collaborate with maintenance partners, contractors and internal teams
