Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking a confident Team Leader to guide the Maintenance Operations Centre (Northern) in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage workloads, and drive delivery through transition to a national model.

Based in on-site Auckland region, you’ll coach staff, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and use data to monitor performance while embedding new ways of working for better service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high-performing teams in complex environments.
• Ability to plan and allocate resources while balancing competing priorities.
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills for large group meetings or trainings.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and change initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Ability to hold team members and contractors accountable with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Experience working across teams in regulated or public sector settings.
