Job summary

Hilton Foods New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Logistics Team Leader at our Wiri site to drive warehouse and logistics performance. You will coordinate the movement and storage of goods, lead a team, and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

You’ll use Lean/Six Sigma principles, monitor KPIs, and build cross-functional relationships to resolve issues and improve processes in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics/supply chain operations.
• Proven track record as a Logistics Team Lead, ideally with automation/robotics experience.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Excellent people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Agile, outcomes-focused, and able to thrive in a dynamic, high-performing environment.

Our Wiri site is searching for a Logistics Team leader.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Logistics Team Leader to drive the performance of our warehouse and logistics operations. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the movement and storage of goods, delivering high quality consumer ready products, and ensuring our processes are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
The roster is a Day Shift. Wednesday 10am-4:00pm, Thursday-Saturday 4:00am-4:00pm

Key Responsibilities
