Hilton Haulage in Christchurch-based warehousing roles involves moving a variety of dairy products and freight locally. As a Storeperson, you will load/unload trucks with forklifts, devanning containers, and complete related paperwork.

You will receive, dispatch and store goods, maintain inventory records, perform stocktakes, and ensure H&S compliance while supporting site management with improvements. The role requires readiness to learn, physical fitness for occasional heavy lifting, and

What the Role Looks Like:

Due to operational growth, we’re looking for an experienced Storeperson to joinour skilled and dynamic Warehousing team, operating a top-notch fleet.

Our Christchurch based warehouse plays a key role inmoving a variety of dairy products and other freight locally. As a Storepersonyour typical day will include a range of tasks including loading and unloadingtrucks using forklifts, devanning containers, and completing the associated relevantpaperwork/system entries.

You will also be responsible for receiving,dispatching, and storing goods with accuracy and care, maintaining inventoryrecords and conducting regular stocktakes, ensuring compliance with health andsafety regulations, and assisting site management with operationalimprovements.

The successful candidate must be willing to learn andalso be physically fit and capable of carrying out some heavy lifting from timeto time. Some flexibility is required to suit business and seasonal needs.

Your pro-activeattention to risk management, maintenance needs, and safe vehicle operationwill reflect the high standards our loyal customers and suppliers expect.

Work Pattern:

Full-time, permanent role with a regular roster:

• Monday – Friday, dayshift,with the flexibility for occasional weekend work at times due to business& seasonal demands
• Average shift: 8 – 10 hours, between 7.00am – 5.00pm

What You Will Bring to the Table:

• F endorsement and OSH Certificate ideally with a minimum 1 years’ experience.
• DG endorsement (preferred, but not essential)
• Previous experience operating 7 tonne forkliftsand/or loaders would be an advantage
• A knackfor learning new technology
• Reliability and dedication along with a proactiveapproach and a passion for teamwork and great customer service
• Adesire to grow and develop your career further
• Any previous experience working with dairyproducts would be a bonus but training can be given
