Job summary

Hilton Foods Asia Pacific is hiring a Production Team Leader at our Wiri site near Auckland. You will lead a 30–80 person team on daily targets, ensuring safe, efficient production and top-quality outputs.

You’ll bridge production planning, operations and logistics, coaching staff, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive, inclusive culture with strong emphasis on health and food safety. Shift pattern includes weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising teams in manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and adaptable with change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate production team members to meet daily targets and maintain high standards.
• Allocate resources and plan rosters to optimise shift efficiency.
• Provide clear direction, training, and coaching on procedures and safety.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust resources to meet goals.
• Promote health, safety, and food safety culture across the team.
• Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and quality teams to drive improvements.
• Support continuous improvement and change initiatives across the site.
