Job summary

Nishin Limited is a long-standing importer, wholesaler and distributor of frozen foods based in Albany, Auckland. The role involves hands-on administration, logistics coordination and customer communication to ensure orders are processed accurately and deliveries are organised efficiently.

You will work closely with delivery drivers, warehouse staff and customers to support marketing activities and payment follow-up. A varied, full-time position with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold a Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Be reliable, punctual and well organised.
• Have strong attention to detail and good data entry accuracy.
• Be confident communicating with customers over the phone.
• Be able to organise and prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Be comfortable coordinating with delivery drivers and warehouse staff.
• Have good computer skills and be confident using common office software.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Have a positive, responsible and practical approach to work.
• At least 2 years of experience in office administration, logistics, dispatch, customer service, wholesale distribution or accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes and schedules for drivers.
• Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate order preparation and dispatch.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and other external parties.
• Assist with general office administration.
• Support selected marketing activities.
• Assist with other administrative and operational duties as required.
