Job summary

Te Kura o Te Mātāpuna Isleworth School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) 0.5 permanent to support ākonga with diverse learning needs.

You will identify needs early, implement targeted interventions, collaborate with SENCO, kaiako, whānau, and external specialists, and lead professional learning to strengthen inclusive practice across the school.

The role emphasizes building strong partnerships with students and families, and contributing to a positive ROCK values culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain learning support procedures and programmes in collaboration with the SENCO and leadership team.
• Coordinate targeted interventions, individual learning plans, ESOL support, and external agency referrals.
• Work closely alongside classroom kaiako and Teacher Aides to implement effective, classroom-based supports.
• Build strong, positive partnerships with students, whānau, staff, and external specialists.
• Lead professional learning for staff, modelling the school’s vision and values while contributing to wider school life.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) (Permanent 0.5) to support our ākonga and make a meaningful impact on their learning journey.

In this key role, you will ensure children with additional learning needs are identified early and receive coordinated, effective support. Working collaboratively alongside our leadership team, SENCO, classroom kaiako, Teacher Aides, whānau, and external specialists, you will strengthen inclusive practice across our school and ensure every learner can thrive. At Isleworth School, we prioritise strengthening teacher capability and fostering an empowering, inclusive culture.

We are looking for our next ROCK star who will:
