Job summary

Taradale Primary School is seeking a permanent Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) for a 0.83 FTE position starting in 2027. The role focuses on coordinating learning support across the kura, working with kaiako, whānau, and external specialists to respond to learner needs.

The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with a current practising certificate and relevant teaching qualification, and will work closely with leadership and Ministry specialists to strengthen inclusive practice.

• Registered teacher with current full practising certificate.
• Relevant teaching qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning support across the kura and with tamariki, whānau, kaiako, kaiāwhina, senior leadership and external specialists.
• Identify learner needs and coordinate appropriate support.
• Strengthen inclusive practice and build capability across the school.
• Collaborate with Ministry Learning Support specialists, RTLB and other agencies to ensure timely responses for learners.
