Job summary

Qualifications

Experience supporting children with diverse needs using assessment data to monitor progress.
Deep commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and engaging authentically with whānau.
Skill in coaching teachers and support staff to build inclusive teaching capability.

Responsibilities

Work alongside school leadership to analyze data, guide resource allocation, and strengthen inquiry into learning support systems.
Partner with teachers and intervention staff to co-design support plans and monitor progress.
Strategically allocate and guide Learning Assistants to maximise impact for diverse learners.
Build partnerships with whānau, ensuring student voice drives decision-making.
Facilitate transitions for learners moving through key stages of schooling.
Enable strong connections between teachers, whānau, RTLB, MOE specialists, and external agencies.
