Job summary

Te Kamo High School seeks a Certificated teacher to join our culturally responsive learning community in Whāngarei. You will contribute across a broad curriculum and work to remove barriers so every student can excel.

You will engage with whānau and iwi, support inclusive practices, and use digital tools to enhance learning, with a school-wide focus on manaakitanga and whanaungatanga. Position starts term 1, 2027.

We are seeking a reflective practitioner who works collaboratively with teachers, whānau, leadership, and external agencies to identify, design, and coordinate support for students with additional learning needs. You will play a pivotal role in building school‑wide teacher capability, fostering inclusive learning environments, and developing strong professional relationships across our school community. All staff are expected to be involved in our iwi/whānau system.

The successful candidate will be active in supporting our local curriculum, leveraging digital technology to enhance accessibility, and ensuring every student receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
