Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa - Department of Corrections is seeking a Learning and Development Designer to support the effectiveness of our learning systems, curriculum and resources. You will partner with stakeholders to design engaging learning solutions and assist in analysis, development and evaluation to meet a diverse range of learner needs.

You will create learner‑centered content, foster collaboration, and help staff apply new knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learning systems standards and administration.
• Understanding of learning principles and experience in designing learning solutions.
• A flair for design and experience creating visually engaging content.
• Ability to develop and maintain clear documentation and plans.
• Working knowledge of current L&D technology trends and directions.

• Support the effectiveness of our learning systems, curriculum and resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse, design and develop learning solutions.
