Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa – Department of Corrections is seeking a Learning and Development Designer to support the effectiveness of our learning curriculum and ecosystem. This permanent, full-time role is based in Central Wellington with flexible working options nationwide.

You will partner with stakeholders to design engaging learning solutions, develop and maintain learning resources, and assess impact through evaluation and reporting to drive staff capability and safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learning systems standards and administration.
• Understanding of learning principles and designing learning solutions.
• Flair for design and creating visually engaging content.
• Ability to develop and maintain clear documentation and plans.
• Knowledge of current L&D technology trends and directions.
