Job summary

Vista Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to strengthen backend capabilities of core Vista products. You will design, develop and maintain backend features with a focus on code quality and secure, scalable systems.

You will collaborate with engineering, architecture and product teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to ongoing maintenance and improvements across applications. Hybrid work in Auckland offers balance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C#, .NET6+, SQL Server.
• Familiarity with JS, React TypeScript, and front-end test-suites would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of user experience best practice for web and mobile applications would be beneficial.
• API Integrations, Data Repositories.
• Docker / Kubernetes / Octopus / Agile.
• Microsoft Azure.
• Advanced coding and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement backend features and functionality for Vista products.
• Collaborate with team members, other engineering teams, and architecture/product teams to deliver features and ensure security and scalability.
• Produce and ensure code integrity and mentor less experienced engineers.
