Job summary

Vista Group is seeking an Intermediate / Senior Test Engineer to expand testing across Vista’s software across multiple technologies. This role bridges QA and DevOps, coordinating system tests, designing cross-squad test solutions, and contributing to automation and observability efforts.

Hybrid role with weekly office presence in Auckland, NZ, and requires NZ work eligibility. You will gain deep knowledge of Vista’s products through hands-on testing, deployment, and observability tasks, while

Qualifications

• Quality champion with strong ownership.
• Expertise in manual and automation testing across multiple technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with good cross-team relationships.
• Experience with automation tools including C#/.NET and Selenium.
• Basic understanding of SQL.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and DataDog.
• Basic project management skills.
• Exposure to DevOps in a cloud environment.
• Curiosity, passion, and energy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support teams performing system test functions.
• Design and execute test solutions that cut across squads and technologies.
• Create and execute Integration Test Plans.
• Contribute to Integration test automation suites.
• Execute cloud-based multi-server deployments using Octopus.
• Monitor product observability using DataDog.
• Perform static analysis to identify risks in missions.
• Contribute to the evolving implementation.
