Job summary

Vista is seeking an Intermediate/Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our Platform team in Auckland. You will build core services and libraries powering product squads, focusing on backend challenges, cloud deployment, and platform tooling.

You will collaborate across engineering and product groups to deliver a secure, scalable platform, mentor peers, and champion engineering quality with well-tested code.

Qualifications

• Proven backend engineer with strong C#/.NET experience.
• Experience deploying and operating cloud-native services.
• Familiarity with containerization and modern delivery practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build core services, libraries, and tools enabling engineering teams to deliver scalable products.
• Collaborate with squads and architecture/product groups to design a robust platform.
• Champion engineering quality with maintainable, well-tested code.
• Mentor less experienced engineers to grow technical skill and maturity.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and refactor design decisions.
• Contribute to best practices for responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.
