Job summary

Vista Group is hiring a Full Stack .NET Software Engineer for our Platform team in Auckland. You will build core services, libraries, and tooling, delivering both backend APIs and frontend interfaces used by engineering squads.

You’ll work across the stack, delivering scalable cloud-native services and modern web apps, while maintaining strong coding standards, security, performance, and observability. Hybrid work and collaboration across teams are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# and .NET to build core services, libraries, APIs, and tools.
• Frontend experience with Angular or similar frameworks and web technologies (TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, scalable backend systems, and platform tooling.
• Familiarity with containers and deployment tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy, Azure Pipelines).

Responsibilities

• Build core services, libraries, APIs, and tooling for engineering squads.
• Design and develop modern web applications and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with squads and architecture to evolve a robust platform.
• Produce maintainable, accessible, well-tested code across frontend and backend.
• Contribute to API design and architectural decisions.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
