Job summary

Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown, just outside Queenstown, NZ, is seeking a Kitchen Hand to support four luxury restaurants and a dedicated functions kitchen. You will help with daily operations, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a five-star dining experience behind the scenes.

The role suits someone with attention to detail, good time management, and a positive, can-do attitude. Weekend and public holiday work is required as part of a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience preferred, however training will be provided.
• Great eye for detail and exceptional time management.
• Good verbal communication, coupled with a “can do” attitude.
• Must be physically fit, as the role requires manual handling.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

TheRole

We have four luxuryrestaurants and a dedicated functions kitchen at Millbrook Resort, and thisrole plays a vital part in keeping each kitchen running seamlessly. As aKitchen Hand, you’ll be at the heart of our team, supporting daily operationsand contributing to a collaborative and positive kitchen environment. We prideourselves on delivering a tailored five-star dining experience across all ourvenues, from the energy of a fast-paced breakfast service to the creativity ofinnovative cuisine in our premium restaurants. Creating memorable experiencesfor our guests starts behind the scenes, and this role is essential in makingthat happen.

SuccessProfile

• Previous experience preferred, however,not necessary as training will be provided.

• Resilient and able to respond to a varietyof situations with a collaborative and flexible approach.

• Drivers Licence is preferable, owing toArrowtown location and shift patterns – you must be able to make your own wayto and from work.
• Self-motivated to work independently, as well as a great teamplayer.

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours: Full-time permanent (30/40 hours per weekminimum guaranteed)

Pay banding: $26.00 - $28.00gross per hour
