Job summary

Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown, NZ, is seeking a practical Stores & Logistics Assistant for roughly 30 hours per week. You will help receive, store, and distribute stock across our luxury resort, supporting restaurants, accommodation, golf, spa and other teams.

This role also supports Millbrook’s HotRot composting system, contributing to waste management and sustainability initiatives. A full NZ driver’s license is essential and the environment is collaborative and fast-paced.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, distribution or a similar operational role would be advantageous.
• You enjoy practical, hands-on work and take pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.
• You are reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
• You have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of stock accuracy and good organisation.
• You are comfortable completing physical work, including moving stock and making deliveries across the resort.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, suppliers and internal customers.
• You can work independently, follow direction and prioritise tasks effectively.
• You are comfortable using computer systems and willing to learn inventory and purchasing platforms such as PurchasePlus.
• You are adaptable and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries and stock control, internal transfers and parcel distribution across the resort.
• Stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensuring goods are received, checked, stored and distributed across departments.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, safe and efficient Stores environment.
• Providing reliable internal service to departments and supporting the composting system as required.
• Assisting with general resort logistics and required deliveries across the resort.

TheRole

Millbrook is NewZealand’s leading luxury lifestyle resort, where a well-run Stores andLogistics operation is essential to delivering a seamless guest experience.

As our Stores &Logistics Assistant, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuringgoods and supplies are received, checked, stored and delivered accuratelyacross our extensive resort operation.

This is a varied andactive role where no two days are quite the same. You will assist withreceiving deliveries, stock control, stocktakes, internal transfers, parceldistribution and scheduled deliveries across the resort, while helping maintainan organised, clean and efficient Stores environment.

You will work closelywith departments across Millbrook, providing reliable and courteous support andhelping ensure our operational teams have what they need, when they need it.

As a secondary part ofthe role, you will also assist with Millbrook’s HotRot composting system,supporting food waste collection, compost processing and responsible wastemanagement across the resort.

What will your day looklike?

This role is part time,approximately 30 hours per week, with the majority of your time focused onStores and Logistics and a smaller component supporting our compostingoperation.

• Supporting the day-to-day operation of Stores,including receiving, checking, storing and distributing goods across the resort
• Completing scheduled and ad hoc deliveries torestaurants, accommodation, golf, spa and other resort departments
• Assisting with stock control, stocktakes, internaltransfers and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Receiving and distributing parcels and supportinggeneral resort logistics requirements
• Helping maintain a clean, organised, safe andefficient Stores environment
• Monitoring stock and operational areas, identifyingdiscrepancies and reporting issues promptly
• Building positive working relationships withdepartments across the resort and providing reliable internal service
• Supporting Millbrook’s HotRot composting system,including food waste collection, compost handling and waste stream management
• Contributing to safe, efficient and sustainableworking practices across the wider resort
