Job summary

Bupa Winara Care Home in Waikanae on the Kapiti Coast is seeking a Kitchen Assistant. You will assist with food preparation, keep dishes clean, and follow hygiene standards to support our Residents.

This casual role has no guaranteed hours per week and training will be provided. You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand and bring reliability and a proactive team attitude to the role.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 1 year experience in a similar role, but full training and development will be provided.
  • Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed.
  • Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents.
  • Reliable transport and travel arrangements.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Located in Waikanae on the Kāpiti Coast, Bupa Winara Care Home enjoys beautiful views of Kāpiti Island and the Reikorangi Valley. Care options include Rest Home, Hospital, and Dementia Care.
