Job summary

Bupa Foxbridge Care Home in Te Rapa, Hamilton is seeking a motivated Cleaner to join our Housekeeping team. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness across resident rooms and public areas, follow the cleaning schedule, manage supplies and report issues to the supervisor.

This permanent part-time role offers average 26 hours per week with a 6-week roster cycle, Monday to Sunday shifts, and benefits including uniforms, staff discounts, and access to health programmes.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or similar setting.
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently.
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents.
• Reliable transport and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Shift Time: 8:30am to 1:30pm/ 8:30am to 4:00pm
• Roster Pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (6-Weekly rotating roster across Monday to Sunday).

Bupa Foxbridge Care Homeis a modern, purpose-built care home located in Te Rapa, Hamilton, beside the Te Rapa Racecourse and Minogue Park. The home offer provides rest home, hospital, and dementia care in a contemporary environment.

As a Cleaneryou will be part of the Housekeeping team to:

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
• Managing cleaning supplies.
• Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
• Treat residents with respect and dignity.

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable.
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents
• Reliable transport and travel arrangements
