Job summary

Bupa Accadia Manor Care Home in South Tauranga is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen team. You’ll help with food preparation, general kitchen duties (dishwashing and cleaning) and uphold hygiene and food safety standards in a Rest Home setting.

This is a casual role with shifts 7am–3pm and hours as required. Ideally you will have around 1 year in a similar role, but full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year experience in a similar role, but full training and development will be provided
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents
• Reliable transport and travel arrangements
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
