Job summary

Bupa Rossendale Care Home in Enderley, Hamilton is seeking a Unit Coordinator for the psychogeriatric unit. You will lead eight-strong teams of carers and nurses, deliver person-centred clinical care, and conduct medication rounds while ensuring accurate care plans and documentation.

You will mentor staff, participate in audits, and support continuous quality improvement across the unit. This permanent, full-time role offers a Monday–Friday pattern and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
  • Proven clinical leadership experience leading a care team.
  • Passion for mentoring and supporting others with clear communication.
  • Prior experience and training in dementia care.
  • Excellent clinical skills in adult and aged care.
  • Title to work legally in New Zealand.

Bupa Rossendale Care Home,located in Enderley, Hamilton just minutes from the Waikato River, offers Rest Home, Hospital, and Specialised Dementia (Psychogeriatric) Care.

As a Unit Coordinator in the PG (psychogeriatric) unit, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:

  • Provide person-centred clinical care for residents
  • Lead a team of 8 caregivers and nurses in your unit to provide the highest quality clinical care
