Job summary

Bupa Ascot Care Home in Invercargill is seeking a casual Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. You’ll prepare and bake food, present meals to a high standard, and help ensure smooth meal service for residents.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year experience in a similar role, but full training and development will be provided
• Have experience following established recipes and preparing food to a high standard
• Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed
• Possess strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
• Excellent time management & communication skills, following instruction accurately
• Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents
• Available to work rotating rostered shifts, including weekends
• Reliable transport and travel arrangements
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand

Bupa Ascot Care Home is located inGlengarry, Invercargill, opposite Ascot Park Raceway. The care home is surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers a warm, welcoming environment for residents.
