Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking an IT Support Specialist to coordinate IT service delivery and manage assets across the business from our Grey Lynn, Auckland office. This hands-on role provides first-line support, handles IT requests and staff onboarding/offboarding, and partners with teams to improve systems.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years in IT support, a related degree or experience, and familiarity with Azure AD, Google Workspace and Jira.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in IT support or a similar role.
• A degree or equivalent IT-related study or practical experience.
• Experience with IT service management processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Jira is desirable.
• Confident in supporting users across digital systems and tools.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage IT requests, incidents, problems and changes.
• Provide first-line support for IT equipment, systems and tools.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding of staff, including access and equipment.
• Support ongoing technology improvements across teams.
• Coordinate training on system enhancements and security policies.
• Contribute to information security practices.
