Job summary

First Focus in New Zealand is seeking an experienced IT support engineer with strong AD/Azure, Windows Server, and Exchange expertise. You will troubleshoot desktops, servers, and networks, and support cloud platforms like Azure AD, Entra, Hyper‑V, Citrix and AWS.

The role mixes desk support with onsite deployments and travel to client sites as needed. You will join a team that values curiosity, practical problem‑ solving, and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of AD (Azure) and end‑user support.
• Solid grasp of Windows Server, Exchange, and cloud platforms.
• Comfort across the stack—from desktop to firewall, LAN/WAN included.
• Experience with ticketing systems and a knack for making users feel heard.
• NZ driver's license or legal ability to drive in New Zealand; hybrid onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Handle tickets across AD, Azure, M365, Exchange.
• Troubleshoot desktops, servers, firewalls, and networks.
• Support cloud platforms: Azure AD, Entra, Hyper‑V, Citrix, AWS.
• Contribute to project deployments.
• Split time between desk support and onsite.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize environments.
• Travel to client sites for on‑site support.
