Job summary

First Focus in Auckland is seeking an experienced IT support specialist to join our team. You'll support Microsoft AD, Azure, 365 and Exchange, and help keep customer environments secure and performing.

You'll work across desktops, servers, networking, and cloud platforms such as Entra, Hyper‑V, Citrix and AWS, with senior engineers on project delivery and paid training to grow your skills. We offer flexible, hybrid working, competitive salary, paid training days, and mentoring through FastTrack

Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments and end users.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Exchange and cloud technologies.
• Confidence working across desktops, servers and networking.
• Experience using ticketing systems and keeping customers informed.
• Great communication, genuine curiosity and a love of solving problems.
• A team‑first attitude and the desire to keep learning.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Microsoft AD, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments
• Troubleshooting desktops, servers, firewalls and networks
• Working across modern cloud platforms including Azure, Entra, Hyper‑V, Citrix and AWS
• Opportunities to work alongside senior engineers on project delivery
• Collaborating with teammates to keep customer environments secure, stable and performing well
