Job summary

Hynds in New Zealand is seeking a proactive Level 1/2 IT Support Analyst to join our Auckland IT team. You will deliver frontline and second-line support across our nationwide network, helping users with Windows, Microsoft 365, and device management.

You'll work with Intune, Autopilot, AD/Entra ID, and ITSM tools, travel to sites as needed, and contribute to ongoing digital transformation projects while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, or IT Support role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills within Windows environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, networking, and device administration.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Experience with ServiceDesk Plus or similar ITSM platforms.
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Availability to be on call when required.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
• Exposure to manufacturing or operational technology environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Microsoft certifications or relevant IT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across hardware, software, and business applications.
• Troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office.
• Manage user accounts, MFA, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
• Deploy and support laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets, and peripherals.
• Assist with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint management.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Travel to sites as required to provide hands-on support.
• Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts.
• Create support documentation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
