Job summary

NSP, based in Auckland, seeks an energetic Business Development Manager to drive new business in NZ SMEs and to expand the customer portfolio within IT managed services and cybersecurity. You will hunt opportunities, qualify deals, and work closely with our technical team to deliver tailored solutions.

You’ll lead with insight, build a strong pipeline, and present compelling proposals while maintaining CRM accuracy and partnering with customers for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success as a top-performing BDM in IT Managed Services or Cybersecurity.
• Strong local network of contacts.
• Expertise in consultative selling, with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical solutions to executives.
• Natural hunter with relentless drive and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• Integrity and trustworthiness with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to build lasting, business-focused relationships.
• Positive, team-first mindset with a can-do attitude.

• Hunting new business with NZ SMEs and opening conversations.
• Leading with insight using a consultative, business-first approach.
• Building and driving pipeline; qualifying and maintaining momentum.

• Growing lasting relationships and turning customers into partners.
• Coordinating delivery readiness with clear handovers.
