Job summary

Vulcan in Christchurch is seeking a customer-focused administrator to support our busy coil operation. You will be the first contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing orders and quotes, and delivering service excellence.

This is a hands-on role in a small team, with on-the-job training, career growth opportunities, and the chance to build strong customer relationships and contribute to the branch’s success.

Qualifications

• Internal sales experience in trade/distribution/industrial setting.
• Customer service experience in trade/industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to be flexible and work in a small team and assist where necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise when busy.
• Intermediate or higher computer skills (MS Office, ERP/CRM).
• Valid work visa or right to work in New Zealand.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
