Job summary

Madison Recruitment is partnering with a well-established New Zealand organisation to recruit an Internal Operations Team Leader for an Auckland CBD head office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is broad and diverse, focusing on leading a small team, coordinating administration, sustainability initiatives, compliance, H&S, information security, and travel management.

Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will drive process improvements, deliver key operational activities,

Qualifications

• Experience leading small internal operations teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with compliance, health and safety, ESG or sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small internal operations team.
• Coordinate sustainability and ESG reporting.
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance documentation.
• Support health and safety programmes and training.
• Manage domestic travel bookings and reporting.
• Prepare reports, meeting agendas and minutes.
• Coordinate projects and business improvement initiatives.
• Support information security and governance processes.
• Build relationships across the business and stakeholders.
• Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
