Job summary

Tyler Wren, Tauranga, is seeking a CA-focused accountant to take ownership of diverse client portfolios and deliver BAS, GST, and financial reporting for a broad client base. You will be the primary contact for clients via phone, email, and in person, while identifying advisory opportunities and contributing to budgets, forecasts, and software implementations.

The role requires 3+ years of BAS experience, progress toward CA, and strong communication; enjoy a collaborative, client-centered

Qualifications

• 3 years + of BAS experience in New Zealand public practice firm.
• Studying towards your CA qualification.
• Experienced with Xero, Xero Workpapers and XPM.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Personable, self motivated and confident with a bit about you to engage with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a varied client portfolio across HNWI, retail, tradies, logistics and lifestyle horticulture up to $2M.
• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, GST, FBT and all things compliance.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients through phone, email and in person.
• Find advisory opportunities and be a part of projects such as management reporting, budgets, forecasts and software implementation.
