Job summary

Fluid Recruitment Limited, on behalf of a well known Dunedin CA firm, is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of experience for an Intermediate/Senior role. You will manage a varied client portfolio, prepare annual reports, financial statements and GST/Tax returns, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential, with ownership/partnership opportunities as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with ongoing status as Chartered Accountant.
• 2+ years of experience at Intermediate or Senior level.
• Experience managing client portfolios across commercial sectors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage a high workload.

The Role:

They are seeking an motivated Accountant with 2+ years of experience, at the Intermediate or Senior level, who is comfortable working with a set portfolio of clients across the commercial spectrum ranging from small private organisations to larger groups with multiple entities. You will be responsible for preparing annual reports, financial statements and GST/Tax Returns. You will also assist with compliance, budgeting, and forecasting.

They need someone who has the strong technical skills to work with minimal support and is comfortable getting through a high workload. You will be working directly with clients to offer tailored business advice, so strong communication skills both verbal and written are also required.
