Job summary

Element 17 Ltd in Christchurch is seeking a qualified designer to develop design concepts, 3D visuals and tender documents, taking a project from initial ideas to full compliance with NZBC. The role includes producing complete working drawings for each project.

You will work collaboratively within a tight-knit team and leverage Archicad, BIMx, Photoshop and Illustrator to deliver accurate drawings and compelling visuals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Archicad and BIMx environments.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office software.
• Design flair with accuracy and ability to translate concepts to working drawings.
• Knowledge of current building code and consenting details.
• Self-motivated, proactive and team oriented.
• Hand drafting and sketching experience is a plus.

Your job entails producing design concepts, 3D visuals and tender documents; seeing a project right from initial ideas to full compliance with NZBC. • General knowledge of the current building code and consenting detail and application
• Self-motivated, proactive and enjoy working as part of a team
• Hand drafting and sketching experience is a big positive
