Job summary

Healthcarenz Limited in Auckland is seeking permanent full-time Support Workers to assist rangitahi and tamariki with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community. You will work with a supportive team to provide coaching, mentoring and safe, educational activities in residential services.

Ideal candidates have experience working with young people, a full New Zealand driver's license and a respectful, culturally aware approach.

Qualifications

• Empathy, respect and cultural awareness are essential.
• Experience working with young people/rangitahi is preferred.
• Full NZ driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to support rangitahi and tamariki to live as independently as possible.
• Assist with attending school or education activities.
• Observe health concerns and support overall health and wellbeing.
• Help young people work towards goals and improved outcomes.
