Job summary

NZCL is seeking energetic Support Workers for our Residential Services in Central, West & South Auckland. You will help people in their own homes with daily activities, encouraging independence and social engagement.

The role offers part-time or full-time hours, with shifts across rosters and potential sleepover payments. Training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing is provided and there's an Employee Assistance program for health and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be empathetic and respectful.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred, including with disabilities.
• Full driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily life activities and wellbeing, including personal care and mobility.
• Assist with meals, household tasks, and community participation to build life skills.
• Work as part of a team to provide 24/7 support across a roster, including sleepover payments where applicable.
