Job summary

NZCL in Auckland requires energetic Support Workers to assist people with daily living and community participation. You will help with personal care, meals, and household tasks while fostering independence in a home-based setting.

Permanent part-time or full-time roles are available across Central, West & South Auckland. Training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing is provided, with shifts including overnights and weekend rosters. Applicants must be NZ residents or hold a valid work permit.

Qualifications

• Must have empathy, respect for diverse backgrounds and a supportive approach.
• Previous healthcare experience with disabilities preferred.
• Full driver's license is essential.
• Energetic, outgoing and able to work with goal-driven individuals.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.

We are looking for permanent Part Time or Full time Support Workers for our Residential Services located Central, West & South Auckland.

This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. - The list is endless! Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.
