Job summary

HealthCare NZ in Auckland is seeking an empathetic, passionate Support Worker to assist clients in achieving goals and living fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support. You will help with meals, community outings, medication support, personal care, and safe transfers as needed.

Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not essential. A full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport are required for most roles. Training is provided, and competitive hourly pay applies.

What You’ll Do:

As aSupport Worker, you’ll help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support. Tasks may include:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Medication support
• Personal care (showering, toileting, etc.)
• Bowel cares,Manual handling, and hoist transfers

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
• Previous healthcare or caregiving experience (preferred but not essential)
• Great communication skills and flexibility to work alternate weekends
• Healthcare qualifications (advantageous)
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport (most roles)
