Job summary

Marsh McLennan is seeking a Graduate Operations Specialist to support our NZ broker network from the Christchurch office. You will handle administration and technical tasks across the end-to-end insurance lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and productive outcomes.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, numerical skills, and good organisation. Insurance knowledge is a plus, with 1–2 years of related experience being desirable. This is a full-time, office-based role in Christchurch.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numerical and data handling abilities.
• Excellent organization and time management to meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a team with internal stakeholders.
• Comfortable with technology and office systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Client Facing Brokers with administration and technical tasks.
• Produce insurance policies and related documentation accurately and timely.
• Handle invoicing, records updates and premium funding documentation.
• Develop relationships with internal broker network.
• Liaise with underwriters as needed on behalf of the broker network.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal client outcomes.
