Job summary

Marsh Christchurch is seeking a Graduate Operations Specialist to support Client Facing Brokers through accurate and timely administration and technical support across the insurance lifecycle.

You will handle documentation, invoicing, record updates, and funding paperwork while building relationships with internal brokers and underwriters. This role offers exposure to the insurance industry and a pathway to grow within Marsh.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Excellent organisation skills – able to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work within a team.
• Comfortable with technology and solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Preferable with insurance knowledge.
• Graduate or administrator with 1-2 years insurance or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the servicing of NZ local businesses ensuring growth targets and service standards are met.
• Providing assistance in all aspects of client service to key internal stakeholders
• Delivering accurate, efficient, and timely Administration & Technical support – such as insurance placement documentation, invoicing, updating computer records and premium funding documentation
• Developing effective working relationships with our internal broker network
• Gaining exposure to the wider insurance industry via liaising with Underwriters on behalf of the broker network.
• Actively support and collaborate with colleagues at all levels to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and the Company.
